ESOL Conference. Creative approaches to engage and motivate ESOL students

Calling all English for Speakers of Other Languages (ESOL) tutors and coordinators.

Join us at our upcoming ESOL Conference on Wednesday 15 May 2024 at the Marino Institute of Education, Dublin. This year’s conference will focus on creative approaches to engage and motivate ESOL students.

Cost: There is no fee for attending this conference.

We will have 5 ESOL guest speakers, plus a choice of 11 ESOL workshops.

Each participant can attend two workshops, one in the morning and one in the afternoon.

e. AI essentials for teachers: The power of the prompt – Kathy Hanrahan, ESOL and Communications Tutor, Waterford and Wexford ETB

f. Including elements of literacy into ESOL resources: Practical tips for tutors new to ESOL: Using the ‘ESOL Materials Ireland’ website as a springboard. – Angus O’Riordan ESOL Trainer and Psychosocial Coordinator, Spirasi and Peadar Glennon, ESOL Coordinator and Tutor, Dublin Adult Learning Centre (DALC)
