Plans for NALA’s 44^th Annual General Meeting (AGM)

NALA is now preparing for our AGM which will take place in person and online on Wednesday 21 May 2025.  The proposed time for the AGM to start is 2pm.

We are also planning for lunch for those who are attending in person to take place before the AGM. The final venue, schedule and information on how to register and attend will be available on this page in April 2025.

Steps for nominating Directors to be elected to NALA’s Board

The Board provides essential leadership to NALA. It makes sure that our vision, mission and values are promoted, advanced and achieved.

This year we have vacancies for 2 Directors.

If you believe ‘literacy is a human right’ and want to see it realised, please consider nominating new Directors for the Board of NALA. To do this please:

• Refer to the Information on Nominations to the NALA Board document which provides further information about the Board and how to make a nomination
• Complete the Nomination form
• Return the nomination forms no later than 18 April 2025. You can return the form to NALA by email to membership@nala.ie or by post to:
