Maths Week Workshops 2017

NALA and the ETBs are hosting a series of half-day numeracy workshops at different locations around the country: If you are interested in improving your numeracy teaching skills, why not book in to one or more of these workshops.

Workshop outlines: Maths Week 2017

Using technology in the numeracy classroom 

Tuesday 17 October – 10.00am to 1:00pm in Mullingar, Co. Westmeath. Faciliatator, Tony Sweeney, Numeracy trainer.

Location: Further Education Centre, Marlinstown, Mullingar, Co Westmeath.


Working with parents of primary school children 

Wednesday 18 October - 10.00 am to 1.00 pm in Galway. Facilitator, Clare Campbell, Numeracy tutor and trainer, Louth and Meath ETB.

Location: Galway and Roscommon ETB Training Centre, Mervue Business Park, Monivea Road, Galway.

Wednesday 18 October - 1.30 to 4.30 pm in Dublin. Facilitator, Mark Prendergast, Lecturer in Mathematics Education, Trinity College Dublin.

Cost: There is no fee for attending these workshops.
