Family Learning Conference 2012 Report

On Wednesday 21 November ’12 NALA  hosted a Family Learning conference in the Ashling Hotel, Dublin. The theme of the conference was “Encouraging Parental Involvement in Family Learning Programmes”.

Social Practice Conference Report March 2008

The title of the conference was ‘Literacy as Social Practice: A challenge and a support’. This was in keeping with the Social Practice theme which ran through the Tutors’ Forum, Family Learning, ALO Forum, ESOL conference and student events in 2008. The Social Practice conference took place in The National College of Ireland, Dublin. 75 participants attended.
