A unique partnership between a group of adult learners in Portlaoise Prison, the National Adult Literacy Agency (NALA), the Portlaoise Prison Education Unit, Waterford Institute of Technology (WIT) and Laois Offaly Education and Training Board (LOETB) formed the foundation for the programme.
