Staff training on integrating literacy in education and training

NALA provide professional development workshops in integrating literacy to a range of further education and training providers.

  • Integrating literacy support and development into subject teaching and learning. This is an introduction to what ‘integrating literacy’ means in practical terms for FET teachers and learners.

  • A seminar or meeting with senior management teams, on developing a whole-organisation policy and plan for integrating literacy.

  • A whole-staff workshop: This  is intended for FET centre managers and staff across all roles. It aims to help develop a shared understanding of 'integrating literacy' and what it might mean in practice for the centre’s core services, procedures and activities.
